The sauna area is located in our spacious over 700sqm spa

In our wellness area, everyone will find their ideal sweating temperature:
lower temperatures with high humidity in the steam sauna (60 ° C, 60% humidity) or who may be hot at low humidity in the Finnish sauna (90 ° C, 10% humidity). Between, you can cool off in the newly designed outdoor area with a splash shower, relax the body in our relaxation areas or feel the soothing warmth of our hot stones.

1000-jährige Linde Bairoda

Entfernung vom Hotel: 1,8 km

Bairoda ist weithin bekannt durch die uralte Linde Bairoda, die über 1000 Jahre alt sein soll, und das Schloß zu Bairoda. 1922 bildeten die Gemeinden Bad Liebenstein, Schweina, Steinbach und Bairoda erstmals eine Großgemeinde, die sich bereits ein Jahr später wieder auflöste. 1950 schlossen sich die Gemeinden Bad Liebenstein, Schweina und Bairoda zu einer Großgemeinde zusammen.

Diese Großgemeinde Bad Liebenstein erhielt 1959 das Stadtrecht. Die Ausgemeindung von Schweina und Bairoda 1974 hatte zur Folge, daß Bad Liebenstein wohl die kleinste Stadt der DDR mit etwa 4.000 Einwohnern war.

Der Trusetaler Wasserfall wird ein unglaubliches Erlebnis für Sie sein, wenn Sie den Aufstieg am Fall über die 200 Treppen auf sich nehmen. Die Belohnung: Ein einzigartiger Blick von der Teufelskanzel in das Werratal. Das Wasser der Truse wird seit mittlerweile 140 Jahren über einen Kunstgraben abgeleitet und stürzt unter donnerndem Rauschen aus fast 60 Metern in die Tiefe. Sich von diesem Spektakel wieder zu lösen, fällt vielen schwer.
